Its like womens cricket. There was a game down in Droitwich the other day, all they do is hit it up in the air every shot as they know the women cant catch. The jubilation on their faces when one of them caught it was amazing, when it really wasnt very hard at all :LMAO: Women. Stick to curling and volleyball :D |

Women's football will grow a lot over the next decade, imo. It would only take somebody like Nike or McD's to get behind it in a big way for Sky to get interested & then it will take off. The standard will improve as funding improves. Most of the players are part-time now so it's hard to compare them against professional athletes. All women's sport looks poor when compared directly to men's sport - tennis, golf, athletics, etc - but nobody decries women athletes for running less quickly then men or women golfers for hitting the ball less far. It's just a different game. |

I quite enjoy women's football, i know it's not as good as mens football but it's still not that bad. How about Kelly Smith, Karen Carney, Rachel Yankey and many more, they are quite decent players. |

For anyone with SSN, keep a watch out for the 10 second clips they might give. There are 3 cracking goals. Equal to any I've seen at St Andrew's this season. Struck hard, from distance and one curled. Brilliant. **thumbup |

I'd have that Yankey chap.. sorry I mean lass.. play in the Blues team. She is a very good left footed winger. And Kelly Smith has looked quite good whenever I've seen her play. Still.. Apart from Arsenal, the other teams I've seen play look like League 2 sides. |

Women's football is scary. Especially to inadequate boys and men who can't face upto the fact that women are equals. In many senses of the word. And vastly superior in many other ways. Women's football is played by women. Not men. Netball is played by women. Not Men. Grid-Iron football is played by men. Not women. So what? The Aresnal v Charlton match was good. It didn't have clattering tackles, elbows and stamping on players. It did have better passing, more attacking plays and tactics than many a Championship match. By both sides. And I'm not saying this because of the ex- BCFC Ladies in both teams. It was a good match. It was women's football. Not mens. Don't be frightened of women you guys, no need to put them down, ridicule them. You need to measure up. :LMAO: |

So now an opinion that womens football is no good is turned into sexist nonsense?? So what do we all have to do ? Say in our biggest deepest manly voices that womens football is good? I dont like or rate womens football simple as, nothing sinister about that is there or am i afraid of women or sexist because i say it? Or perhaps i am scared women are taking over the sporting world and will eventually replace men at the pinnacle of sport and mine is a desperate tirade against women to avert this. |

:LMAO: :LMAO: Get out from under that horse and put out that burning bra! It's attrocious and shouldn't have fee money spent on it. People pay stupid amounts to the beeb and they showcase that?? I've a few female, football fans and they hate it more than anything. They consider it an embaressment and i'm not surprised. |
